This Privacy Policy applies specifically to Steadfasting ("Steadfasting," "the App"), a mobile application developed by Seampli LLC ("Seampli," "we," "our," or "us"). It explains what information Steadfasting collects, how it is used, and the choices available to you. This Policy supplements the general Seampli Privacy Policy available at seampli.app/privacy; where conflicts exist, this Steadfasting-specific Policy governs for use of the App.

At a Glance

Steadfasting is built to be private by design. All of your fasting sessions, weight entries, hydration logs, and app settings are stored locally on your device. We do not operate user accounts, we do not maintain a server that receives your fasting or health data, and we do not sell your information. Certain limited data (such as anonymized crash reports) may be processed by Apple as part of standard iOS operations.

Scope of This Policy

This Policy covers the Steadfasting iOS application, including its main app, home screen widgets, Lock Screen Live Activities, and Dynamic Island presentations. It does not cover third-party services, external websites, or other Seampli products, each of which are governed by their own policies.

Health-Related Data

Steadfasting collects information that may be considered health-related, including fasting schedules, weight logs, and hydration entries. We treat this category of data with particular care:

Because Steadfasting does not transmit health-related data off your device, data breaches or unauthorized access to Seampli systems cannot expose your fasting or health records. Your data is only as secure as your device.

On-Device Storage

All data you enter into Steadfasting is stored in your device's local app container using Apple-provided storage mechanisms (including UserDefaults and local files). This data:

How We Use Information

To the limited extent we receive any information from App Store Connect or Apple's App Analytics, we use it to:

We do not sell, rent, or trade any user data. We do not use the App to profile users, build advertising audiences, or track you across other apps or websites.

Permissions We Request

Steadfasting may ask for permission to access certain device features. Each permission is used only for its stated purpose and can be revoked at any time through your device's Settings app.

Steadfasting does not request access to your contacts, photos, microphone, camera, location, or Apple Health data.

Third-Party Services

Steadfasting uses a minimal set of third-party systems:

Steadfasting does not currently integrate advertising networks, third-party analytics SDKs, or user tracking frameworks. If such services are introduced in a future update, this Policy will be updated, and where legally required, we will request your consent before enabling them.

Purchases

Steadfasting offers a one-time "Steadfasting Premium" in-app purchase processed by Apple through StoreKit. We do not receive, store, or process your payment card, Apple ID credentials, or billing address. Purchase verification is handled by Apple; we only receive the information necessary to confirm entitlement (whether you have an active Premium purchase associated with your Apple ID on the current device).

Because Steadfasting keeps your personal data on your device, most privacy rights can be exercised directly by you:

If you are in the EU, EEA, UK, California, or another jurisdiction with applicable privacy laws, you may contact us at support@seampli.app to exercise your rights, including the right to object, restrict processing, or lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Security

Data stored locally by Steadfasting is protected by iOS's built-in app-sandboxing and device-level security features (such as your device passcode and Face ID/Touch ID if enabled). Support communications are transmitted over TLS-encrypted channels. While no system is perfectly secure, we rely on Apple's platform protections and industry-standard practices for the limited data we handle.

Children's Privacy

Steadfasting is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect information from minors. Intermittent fasting is not appropriate for children or adolescents and should only be considered by adults under the guidance of a qualified healthcare provider. If you believe a minor has provided information to us, please contact support@seampli.app and we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

Updates to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version will always be available at seampli.app/steadfast/privacy. Material changes will be communicated in-app or through the App Store update notes. Continued use of the App after a policy update constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
